We have completed a series of interpretation panels which reach across the county of Durham and tells the history of social housing. This project involved working within schools and creating a some graphic friezes with the children of 14 schools. The graphic was eventually used on the interpretation panels and linked the story of mining and industry and the growth of social housing in the post war period.
During the manufacturing phase we worked with a local fabricator for the manufacturing of the steel work which includes an innovative way of including a buried time capsule with the panels.
