Seeing the world through my dogs eyes - or maybe nose! These sketches have started to take on a new significance for me. In recent months clients are seeing the possibilities of communicating the landscape through the idea of creating a nature journey for their own spaces.
This year I spent a week on Arran and the first day saw a wealth of wildlife including hen harriers, dolphins, manx shearwater, sharks and seals.
Wokingham Council have commissioned me to illustrate the first of their Greenways for use on the way finding monoliths I am designing for them. This is something that will help users of the path to appreciate something of the nature that surrounds them everyday, but perhaps they don’t notice for themselves.
The wayfinding monoliths are still on the drawing board and I will write another post about this soon.
