Drystone Interpretation at Kielder Forest

Steve Pardue October 17, 2022

We created an interpretive installation in the wilderness of Kielder Forest. Situated within a drystone “Shepherds Lookout” - or currick - the interpretation was housed in a laser cut gabian box. This allowed us to tell the story of the future rewilding of this area and the tree planting as it will look in 25 years time.

The gabian box was filled with stones from the site and allowed us to install without concrete or complication!
