These upright bookmarks in the landscape tell just a few of the remarkable stories of this small area of Newcastle that had such significance and provide an enduring fascination even today.

RSPB Loch Leven

Loch Leven is a RSPB reserve north of Edinburgh near Kinross. Set on the southern shore of the loch, this nature reserve offers a great day out for families, nature lovers and wildlife watchers alike. Ospreys visit the loch to fish during the summer, while up to 20,000 pink-footed geese fly in from Iceland come autumn.

Drystone Interpretation at Kielder Forest

Imagine standing in one of the wildest landscapes in England, looking up the valley and seeing Scots pine and native woodland stretching into the distance along a meandering burn. Black grouse forage below and golden eagles soar above.

This is the future envisaged for the land along the Scaup Burn at Kielderhead, stretching up to the Whitelee Moor Nature Reserve and on towards the border. Our job was to bring this vision to life.

The park underwent improvements in paths, landscape and signage. Our role was to be part of the design team alongside the landscape architects: Southern Green Landscape Design.

Greenways - California Way Wayfinding

California Way is a new green route through Wokingham. The wayfinding included a suite of bespoke site furniture design and created by us. The monolith signs are based on a standing stone and has rock art patterns perforated through the corten steel which references the ancient “sweet” routes that have connected communities through the centuries.
